브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 아시아나항공이 한중 양국 방문객 증가세에 발맞춰 중국 노선 운항을 20% 확대한다.
아시아나항공은 내달 29일부터 중국 노선을 동계기간 대비 주 28회 확대해 총 18개 노선 주 161회 운항한다고 11일 밝혔다.
아시아나항공은 동계기간 비운항했던 인천~청두 노선과 인천~충칭 노선을 내달 29일부터 매일 운항한다. 청두와 충칭은 각각 푸바오를 만날 수 있는 판다기지와 마라의 본고장으로 한국인들이 많이 찾는 곳이다.
인천~청두 노선 항공편은 인천공항에서 오후 8시에 출발해 청두 텐푸 공항에 현지 시각 오후 11시에 도착하고, 돌아오는 편은 청두공항을 현지 시각 오전 00시 10분에 출발해 오전 5시 10분 인천공항에 도착한다.
인천~충칭 노선은 인천공항에서 오후 9시 55분에 출발해 충칭 공항에 현지시각 다음날 오전 1시에 도착하며, 돌아오는편은 현지시각 오전 2시 충칭 공항을 출발해 오전 6시 25분 인천공항에 도착한다. 두 노선 모두 188석 규모의 A321neo 기종이 투입된다.

아울러 아시아나항공은 올 5월 6일부터 인천~창춘 노선을 기존 주 7회에서 주 9회로, 인천~옌지 노선은 5월 8일부터 기존 주 7회에서 주 8회로 증편할 예정이다.
아시아나항공 관계자는 “한중 양국의 비자면제 정책 시행 이후 관광과 함께 경제 문화 협력 확대 등으로 다양한 수요가 늘어날 것으로 전망한다”며 “앞으로도 노선 공급 증대를 통해 양국간 우호 증진에 기여할 예정이다”고 말했다.
