파주시가 남성의 육아 참여를 독려하고 육아휴직에 따른 가계의 경제적 부담을 덜어주기 위해 ‘파주시 아빠 육아휴직 장려금’ 지원 사업을 본격적으로 시행한다.
이번 사업은 남성 근로자의 육아휴직 참여는 증가하고 있으나, 낮은 소득 대체율로 인해 휴직을 고민하는 아빠들을 실질적으로 돕기 위해 기획됐다.
특히 파주시 장려금은 경기도가 지난해 시행한 사업과 달리 소득 수준에 관계없이 기본 요건만 충족하면 누구나 지원받을 수 있다는 점이 가장 큰 특징이다.
시는 이를 통해 부모가 함께 자녀를 돌보는 ‘공동육아’ 문화를 정착시키고 성평등에 대한 시민 인식을 높인다는 계획이다.
지원 대상은 다음의 요건을 모두 충족하는 남성 근로자다.
시행일: 2026년 1월 1일 이후 육아휴직을 시작한 자
거주 요건: 신청일 기준 파주시에 1년 이상 계속 거주하며, 대상 자녀 역시 파주시에 주민등록이 되어 있는 자
수급 요건: 「고용보험법」에 따른 육아휴직 급여 수급자로 1개월 이상 휴직한 자
