경기북부보훈지청이 설 명절을 앞두고 한국전력공사 경인건설본부와 손잡고 지역 보훈가족들에게 온정을 전했다.
경기북부보훈지청은 지난 9일 한국전력공사 경인건설본부와 협력해 동두천시와 양주시에 거주하는 보훈가족 300여 명을 대상으로 설 명절 위문 활동을 펼치고 후원품을 전달했다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 한국전력공사 경인건설본부(본부장 배병렬)와 동 본부 노동조합(위원장 한가람)의 적극적인 후원으로 성사됐다.

단순 물품 전달에 그치지 않고 임직원들이 직접 보훈가족의 자택을 방문해 안부를 살피고 명절의 정을 나누는 방식으로 진행돼 더욱 뜻깊었다는 평가다.
현장에서 위문품을 받은 참전유공자 배우자 손 모 어르신은 "남편 덕분에 이렇게 좋은 분들의 세심한 배려를 받게 돼 감사하다"며 "보훈가족을 잊지 않고 찾아준 모든 분이 새해에 큰 복을 받으시길 바란다"고 감사 인사를 전했다.
