한국법무보호복지공단 경기북부지부는 지난 2월 10일, 설 명절을 앞두고 취업지원위원회와 함께 ‘설 명절 맞이 기부금 및 후원물품 전달식’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 전달식은 취업지원위원회 윤주 회장을 비롯한 소속 법무보호위원들이 뜻을 모아 마련했다.
이날 위원회는 경기북부지부 측에 200만 원 상당의 법무보호사업 기금과 함께, 명절을 홀로 보내거나 경제적 어려움을 겪는 보호대상자들을 위한 명절 선물세트를 전달하며 온정을 나누었다.

전달된 기금과 물품은 소외된 보호대상자들이 따뜻한 명절을 보낼 수 있도록 지원하고, 이들의 성공적인 사회 복귀와 자립을 돕는 다양한 법무보호사업에 사용될 예정이다.
윤주 취업지원위원회 회장은 “민족의 영절인 설을 맞아 전달한 기금과 물품이 보호대상자들의 자립 의지를 북돋우고 따뜻한 명절을 맞이하는 데 작은 보탬이 되길 바란다”고 소감을 전했다.
권영호 경기북부지부장은 “경제적으로 어려운 시기임에도 불구하고 항상 보호대상자들을 위해 아낌없는 지원을 보내주시는 취업지원위원회 위원님들께 깊은 감사를 드린다”며 “앞으로도 경기북부 지역 보호대상자들의 선도와 재범 예방을 위해 지속적인 관심과 협력을 부탁드린다”고 화답했다.
