안동교도소, 설 앞두고 다문화가정 위문금 전달

이번 위문은 풍산읍에 거주하는 다문화가정 가운데 지원이 필요한 주민 3명을 대상으로 이뤄졌으며, 안동교도소 직원들이 자발적으로 모금한 불우이웃돕기 성금으로 마련됐다.

안동교도소는 매년 설·추석 등 명절과 주요 행사 때마다 성금을 모아 지역 내 소외계층을 위한 나눔 활동을 이어오고 있다. 박원규 소장은 “모국을 떠나 한국에서 가정을 이루고 살아가는 다문화가정에 따뜻한 마음이 전해지길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회를 위한 지속적인 관심과 지원을 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편 교정협의회(회장 박진수)는 설 명절을 맞아 13일 안동교도소를 방문해 수용자들을 위한 떡 850인분을 기부했다. 기부 물품은 명절을 맞아 고향을 떠올릴 수용자 전원에게 전달될 예정으로, 정서적 안정과 소외감 해소에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

박진수 회장은 “설을 맞아 수용자들이 조금이나마 따뜻한 명절을 보내길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 지속적인 나눔을 실천하겠다”고 말했다.
