【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군은 설 명절을 맞아 전도성 진천 부군수가 관내 사회복지시설을 방문해 쌀, 세탁세제 등 생활용품을 전달하고 시설 종사자들을 격려했다고 11일 밝혔다.
이날 전 부군수는 노인거주 생활시설인 ‘솔마루 요양원’과 장애인 거주시설인 ‘평화선교복지회’ 2개소를 차례로 방문해 시설 생활자들에게 명절 인사를 건네며 세심히 안부를 살폈다.
또한, 어려운 여건 속에서도 어르신과 장애인의 건강과 복지를 위해 현장에서 힘쓰고 있는 시설 관계자들에게 감사 인사를 전하고, 시설 운영 과정에서 겪는 애로사항을 청취하는 시간을 가졌다.
전도성 진천 부군수는 “사회복지시설은 지역사회 돌봄의 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있다”며 “앞으로도 시설 생활자들이 더 안정적이고 따뜻한 환경에서 지낼 수 있도록 지속적인 관심과 지원을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.
