이번 성금은 증천1리 경로당이 참여하고 있는 ‘일하는 밥퍼 사업’을 통해 마련됐다.
‘일하는 밥퍼 사업’은 증천1리 경로당을 작업장으로 주 3회(월·수·금) 운영되며, 하루 평균 10명이 참여해 ‘양가네농장’으로부터 제공받은 일감으로 부추박스 속지 작업을 진행하고 있다.
양경자 노인회장은 “우리 지역 아동들이 보다 나은 환경에서 성장할 수 있도록‘일하는 밥퍼 사업’참여자들의 마음을 모았다”며 “이번 후원이 사업에 참여한 어른들의 정성이 손주 같은 아이들에게 실질적인 도움이 돼, 밝고 건강한 미래를 위한 디딤돌이 되기를 기대한다”고 전했다.
한편, 아동발달지원계좌(디딤씨앗통장)는 취약계층 아동이 매월 일정 금액을 저축하면 국가와 지자체가 월 최대 10만 원까지 적립금을 매칭 지원해 대학 진학과 직업훈련 등에 필요한 초기 비용을 마련할 수 있도록 지원하는 사업으로, 현재 지역 내 200여 명의 아동이 혜택을 받고 있다.
