유성구, 드림스타트 아동과 함께하는 겨울방학 문화체험 운영

대전 유성구가 겨울방학을 맞은 드림스타트 아동을 위해 특별한 문화체험의 시간을 마련했다.

유성구는 11일 대전엑스포아쿠아리움에서 드림스타트 아동과 가족 30여 명이 참여한 가운데 ‘겨울방학 문화 프로그램’을 진행했다고 밝혔다. 참가자들은 다양한 해양생물을 관람하며 가족과 함께 추억을 쌓는 시간을 가졌다.

‘드림스타트’는 만 12세 이하 취약계층 아동과 가족을 대상으로 통합 사례관리와 맞춤형 서비스를 제공하는 아동 복지사업이다. 유성구는 이를 통해 아동의 건강한 성장과 공평한 출발 기회를 지원하고 있다.

정용래 유성구청장은 “이번 프로그램이 아이들과 가족에게 의미 있는 경험이 되었기를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 민관이 협력해 취약계층 아동을 위한 다양한 체험과 교육 프로그램을 확대하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 대전신세계와 대전엑스포아쿠아리움은 2022년부터 유성구 드림스타트와 협력해 아동들을 위한 문화·체험 활동을 꾸준히 지원하고 있다.
