충남도립대, 제27회 학위수여식 개최…344명 지역의 미래로 나서

충남도립대학교가 지역사회와 산업 현장을 이끌어갈 새로운 인재 344명을 배출했다.

충남도립대는 11일 대학 해오름관 다목적실에서 ‘제27회 학위수여식’을 열고, 전문학사 및 학사 학위를 수여했다. 이날 행사에는 김태흠 충남도지사를 비롯해 정광섭 충남도의회 부의장, 지역기관장, 도의원, 청양군수 등 내외빈과 졸업생, 학부모 등 450여 명이 참석해 새로운 출발을 함께 축하했다.

올해 학위수여식은 김태흠 지사가 직접 참석해 졸업생 한 명 한 명에게 격려의 마음을 전했다는 점에서 의미를 더했다. 김 지사는 축사를 통해 “충남도는 청년이 지역을 떠나지 않아도 되는 환경을 만들기 위해 산업과 일자리, 주거 여건을 지속적으로 강화하고 있다”며 “충남에서 뿌리내리고 살아가며 미래를 설계할 수 있도록 든든한 기반을 만들어가겠다”고 강조했다.

또한 그는 졸업생들에게 “어디에서든 스스로 삶의 주인이 되는 자세가 중요하다”며, ‘수처작주(隨處作主·어디에 있든 그곳에서 스스로 주인이 되라)’의 마음으로 당당히 자신의 길을 걸어가 달라고 당부했다.

이날 시상식에서는 자치행정학과 안희영 학생이 도지사 표창을, 뷰티코디네이션학과 한혜윤 학생이 도의회의장 표창을 받았으며, 학업 성취가 우수한 졸업생에게 총장상과 유관기관 표창도 수여됐다.

행사는 졸업생 대표의 답사와 재학생·교직원이 준비한 축하 영상으로 이어졌으며, 학창 시절의 추억을 돌아보는 따뜻한 분위기 속에 마무리됐다.

양노열 충남도립대 기획홍보처장은 “충남도립대는 지역이 필요로 하는 실무형 인재를 길러내는 대학으로 자리매김하고 있다”며 “오늘 졸업하는 학생들이 지역의 미래를 이끌 주역으로 성장하길 기대한다”고 말했다.

Chungnam National University held its 27th Commencement Ceremony on the 11th in the multipurpose room of the university's Haeoreum Hall, awarding associate and bachelor's degrees. Approximately 450 people, including Chungnam Governor Kim Tae-heum, Chungnam Provincial Council Vice Chairman Jeong Gwang-seop, heads of local organizations, provincial council members, and the Mayor of Cheongyang County, as well as distinguished guests, graduates, and parents, attended the event to celebrate this new beginning.

This year's Commencement Ceremony was especially meaningful as Governor Kim Tae-heum personally attended and offered encouragement to each graduate. At the awards ceremony, Ahn Hee-young, a student in the Department of Local Government Administration, received the Governor's Award, and Han Hye-yoon, a student in the Department of Beauty Coordination, received the Provincial Council Chairman's Award. Graduates with outstanding academic achievements were also presented with the President's Award and commendations from related organizations.

The event concluded with a speech by a representative of the graduating class and a congratulatory video prepared by current students and faculty, and concluded with a warm atmosphere of reminiscing about their school days.
