대전 중구가 거동이 불편한 돌봄대상자를 위한 이동지원 서비스 ‘온마을콜택시’를 본격 도입한다.
이를 위해 중구는 11일 대전중부모범운전자회(회장 서보원)와 업무협약을 체결하고, 돌봄 사각지대 해소와 통합돌봄 체계 강화를 위한 협력체계를 구축했다고 밝혔다.
‘온마을콜택시’는 요양보호사나 활동지원사의 동행이 어려운 통합돌봄 대상자들이 병원 진료나 생필품 구매 등 일상생활에 필요한 외출을 보다 편리하게 이용할 수 있도록 돕는 맞춤형 이동지원 서비스다. 구는 이를 통해 교통 접근성과 이동 편의를 개선하고, 이용자의 경제적 부담도 줄일 계획이다.
이번 협약에 참여한 대전중부모범운전자회는 지난 2년간 무연고 사망자의 공영장례 운구 지원 등에 참여하며 꾸준히 봉사활동을 이어온 단체다. 구는 운전자회의 지역사회 경험과 전문성이 이번 사업의 안정적 운영에 큰 힘이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
김제선 중구청장은 “이동권 보장은 돌봄의 출발점이자 구민의 삶을 지탱하는 기본권”이라며 “온마을콜택시를 통해 돌봄대상자의 의료 접근성과 생활 편의를 높이고, 주민이 체감할 수 있는 통합돌봄 서비스를 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
