충남 아산시의회가 11일 제2차 본회의를 끝으로 8일간 이어진 제264회 임시회 일정을 모두 마무리했다. 이번 회기에서는 조례안 등 각종 안건을 심사·의결하고, 2026년도 주요업무계획을 점검하며 시정 운영의 기반을 다졌다.
의회는 이번 회기 동안 원안가결 20건 ,수정가결 7건 ,의견서 작성 4건 등 총 31건의 안건을 처리했다. 각 상임위원회는 조례 제·개정안과 주요 정책을 면밀히 검토하며 행정제도의 실효성을 높이는 데 중점을 뒀다.
또한 본회의 전 진행된 5분 자유발언에서는 의원들의 현안 제언이 이어졌다. 천철호 의원은 ‘K-가곡 슈퍼스타’ 프로젝트를 주제로 지역문화 진흥의 기회를 강조했고, 김은복 의원은 수탁기관 자율성 침해 문제를 지적하며 행정 운영의 원칙을 촉구했다.
명노봉 의원은 ‘더 신뢰받는 아산을 향한 4년의 발걸음’을 주제로 향후 의정 방향에 대한 고민을 공유했다.
홍성표 의장은 폐회사를 통해 “이번 회기 동안 안건 심사와 시정 점검에 협력해 주신 동료 의원들과 관계 공무원께 감사드린다”며 “‘시민에게 행복을, 아산에는 희망을’이라는 가치 아래 시민 중심의 의정활동을 꾸준히 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.
아산시의회는 앞으로도 현장의 목소리를 반영한 정책 대안을 제시하고, 시민이 체감할 수 있는 생활 의정을 실현하기 위한 의정활동을 지속할 방침이다.
