이날 회의에는 도 본청 실·국장과 시·군 부단체장이 영상으로 참석해 ▲재난·안전사고 예방 ▲교통·의료 대응체계 ▲물가 안정 및 민생 지원 ▲취약계층 보호 ▲연휴 기간 비상근무체계 운영 현황 등을 중점적으로 논의했다.
경북도는 연휴 기간 화재구조구급반, 응급의료대책반, 교통수송대책반, 환경관리반 등 11개 반 5,698명으로 구성된 종합상황실을 운영해 각종 사건·사고에 신속 대응할 방침이다.
특히 건조 특보가 지속되는 상황을 고려해 산불방지 특별대책본부를 가동하고 감시·예방 활동을 강화한다. 산불 발생 시에는 초기 대응 역량을 집중해 대형 산불로의 확산을 차단한다는 계획이다. 이와 함께 재난안전상황실 24시간 운영, 전 소방관서 특별경계근무 실시를 통해 화재, 한파, 교통사고 등 각종 안전사고에 총력 대응한다.
귀성객 증가에 따른 교통 혼잡과 응급 상황에 대비해 교통상황 관리체계를 점검하고, 당직 의료기관과 응급의료기관 운영 현황을 재확인하는 등 연휴 기간 의료 공백 방지에도 나선다.
명절 체감 물가 안정 대책도 병행한다. 전통시장과 주요 성수품 가격 동향을 면밀히 관리하고, 불공정 상행위에 대한 지도·점검을 강화해 도민과 귀성객의 부담을 최소화할 계획이다.
아울러 독거노인·저소득층 등 취약계층과 지난해 초대형 산불로 복귀하지 못한 이재민을 대상으로 안부 확인과 맞춤형 지원을 강화한다. 한파 등 기상 악화에 대비한 보호 대책도 함께 추진한다.
설 연휴를 맞아 문화·관광 활성화 프로그램도 운영한다. 도내 박물관에서는 전통놀이 체험 등 특별 프로그램을 마련하고, 지역 행사와 자연휴양림 체험 프로그램을 통해 관광 수요를 지역경제 활성화로 연계할 방침이다.
이철우 도지사는 “공무원의 가장 중요한 책무는 도민의 생명과 재산을 지켜내는 것”이라며 “명절이라고 해서 한순간도 방심해서는 안 된다”고 강조했다.
이어 “각 시·군은 현장 중심 대응과 유관기관 간 긴밀한 협업으로 작은 위험 신호도 놓치지 말고, 어떤 긴급 상황에도 즉각 대응할 수 있는 태세를 유지해 달라”며 “도민이 안심하고 따뜻한 설 명절을 보낼 수 있도록 모든 행정 역량을 총동원해 달라”고 당부했다.
