고양특례시가 설 명절을 앞두고 주민들의 생생한 목소리를 듣기 위한 민생탐방에 나섰다.
이동환 고양특례시장은 지난 11일 덕양구 효자동 행정복지센터를 찾아 통장회의에 참석하고 민생 현안을 청취하는 시간을 가졌다.
효자동은 북한산을 품고 있는 지역으로, 이날 방문은 명절을 앞두고 지역 주민들의 애로사항을 직접 듣기 위해 마련됐다.

통장회의에 참석한 이 시장은 "시민들의 작은 목소리 하나하나가 모여 큰 변화를 이루어낸다"며 "2026년 병오년, 붉은 말의 해를 맞아 더 힘차고 에너지 가득한 한 해가 되기를 바란다"고 말했다.
이어 "통장님들의 목소리가 곧 시민의 소리라 생각하고, 현장에서 열심히 들려주신 의견을 시정에 적극 반영하겠다"고 강조했다.
이 시장은 또 민원실을 방문해 민원처리와 복지업무 최일선에서 시민을 맞이하는 동 직원들과 덕담을 나누고 새해 인사를 전했다.
