"실질 권한 없는 통합 특별법은 재검토되어야 합니다.”
대전충남통합특별법 제정 국회 논의와 관련 연일 강경 발언을 이어가고 있는 이장우 대전시장이 12일 오후 기자회견을 열고 국회 소위에서 논의한 특별법은 '누더기 특별법' 이라며 재검토 돼야 한다고 밝혔다.
이 시장은 이날 기자회견에서 국호 소위를 통과한 특별법안이 중앙부처의 이기주의에 밀려 핵심 특례가 훼손된 중앙부처의 이기주의가 반영된 누더기 법률안에 불과하다며 좌시하지 않겠다고 목소리를 높였다.
이 시장은 이어 지방의 미래와 직결된 사안임에도 불구하고, 실질적인 권한 이양과 재정적 뒷받침이 충분히 담기지 못한 점에 대해 대전광역시는 심각한 우려를 표한다는 입장을 분명히 했다.
