최민호 세종시장, 설 연휴 앞두고 "시민 안전망 빈틈없이" 당부

최민호 세종특별자치시장이 민족 대명절 설 연휴에도 시민의 생명과 안전을 지키기 위해 현장을 지키는 경찰·소방 공무원들을 찾아 감사의 뜻을 전했다.

세종특별자치시는 12일, 최민호 시장이 명절 기간 치안 유지와 재난 대응에 매진하고 있는 세종남부경찰서 금남파출소와 세종북부소방서를 잇따라 방문해 현장 근무자들을 격려했다고 밝혔다.

이번 방문은 모두가 쉬는 연휴에도 쉼 없이 구조·구급 및 화재 예방 활동에 임하는 공직자들의 노고를 위로하고, 명절 기간 발생할 수 있는 각종 안전사고에 대해 빈틈없는 대비 태세를 당부하기 위해 마련됐다.

최 시장은 먼저 금남파출소를 찾아 귀성·귀경객들로 붐비는 도로 교통 관리 현황과 지역 내 생활 치안 대응 체계를 면밀히 살폈다. 이 자리에서 최 시장은 근무자들과 진솔한 대화를 나누며 현장의 애로사항을 청취하고, 시민들이 평온한 명절을 보낼 수 있도록 힘써주는 경찰관들에게 깊은 고마움을 표했다.
