국립공주대학교가 12일 공주·예산·천안 캠퍼스에서 2025학년도 전기 학위수여식을 온·오프라인 병행으로 성황리에 치렀다.
오전 10시 공주캠퍼스에서 온라인으로 열린 제1부에서는 개회식, 학사보고, 최교진 교육부 장관 영상축사, 임경호 총장 격려사 등이 진행됐다.
이어 제2부로 각 캠퍼스에서 오프라인 학위수여식이 열렸으며, 박사 76명, 석사 410명, 학사 2,447명 등 총 2,933명이 새로운 길을 떠났다.
특히 임경호 총장은 한국출판마케팅연구소 한기호 소장에게 명예졸업증서를 수여했다.
1977년 공주대 사범대학 국어교육과 입학 당시 유신체제에 맞선 민주화 운동으로 국가 발전에 기여한 공로를 인정받은 한 소장은, 후배 졸업생들의 박수 속에 증서를 받았다.
한기호 소장은 1998년 한국출판마케팅연구소를 설립해 격주간 출판전문지 《기획회의》를 27년째 펴내고 있으며, 2010년부터 월간 《학교도서관저널》을 16년간 발행 중이다.
출판·독서 평론가로 활발히 활동하며 AI 시대 종이책의 의미를 고민하는 현역 지식인으로 평가받고 있다.
임경호 총장은 격려사에서 “포기하지 않은 노력으로 빛나는 졸업생 여러분을 축하한다”며 “AI와 성장하되 인간다움을 잃지 말고, 여러분의 열정과 용기가 시대의 희망이 되길 바란다”고 당부했다.

Kongju National University successfully held its 2025 Spring Semester Commencement Ceremony on the 12th, both online and offline, at its Gongju, Yesan, and Cheonan campuses.
The first part of the ceremony, held online at 10:00 AM on the Gongju campus, featured an opening ceremony, academic report, a video congratulatory address from Minister of Education Choi Kyo-jin, and words of encouragement from President Lim Kyung-ho.
The second part of the ceremony was followed by offline commencement ceremonies held at each campus. A total of 2,933 students, including 76 doctoral students, 410 master's students, and 2,447 bachelor's students, embarked on new paths.
President Lim Kyung-ho also presented an honorary diploma to Han Ki-ho, director of the Korea Publishing Marketing Research Institute.
Director Han, who was recognized for his contributions to national development through the democratization movement against the Yushin regime when he entered the Department of Korean Language Education at Kongju National University in 1977, received his certificate amidst applause from his fellow graduates.
Director Han Ki-ho founded the Korea Publishing Marketing Research Institute in 1998 and has published the biweekly publication journal "Planning Conference" for 27 years. He has also been publishing the monthly "School Library Journal" since 2010, for 16 years.
He is an active publishing and reading critic, recognized as a leading intellectual who ponders the meaning of paper books in the AI era.
In his congratulatory remarks, President Lim Kyung-ho said, "I congratulate the graduates for their unwavering dedication. I urge you to grow with AI, yet never lose your humanity. May your passion and courage become the hope of our times."
