대전 대덕구가 설 명절을 앞두고 지역 전통시장으로 발걸음을 옮기며 상인들과 함께하는 장보기에 나섰다.
대덕구는 12일 중리·법동·신탄진 전통시장에서 ‘2026 설맞이 전통시장 장보기’ 행사를 열고, 경기 침체로 어려움을 겪는 상인들을 격려하며 소비 촉진 활동을 펼쳤다.
이날 행사에는 최충규 대덕구청장을 비롯해 구의원, 상인회, 주민자치회, 자원봉사단체 등 500여 명이 참여해 제수용품과 농·축·수산물을 직접 구입하며 전통시장 이용을 홍보했다.
현장에서는 전통시장 이용 활성화를 위해 온누리상품권 환급행사 안내도 함께 진행됐다.
오는 14일까지 진행되는 이번 행사 기간에는 농·축·수산물과 국내산 원재료 함량 70% 이상 가공식품을 구매할 경우 결제 금액의 최대 30%를 온누리상품권으로 돌려받을 수 있어, 명절 장보기를 계획한 시민들의 관심이 모이고 있다.
대덕구는 장보기 행사와 함께 시장 내 물가와 거래 질서도 점검했다.
원산지 표기 이행 여부와 불공정거래 행위 등을 살피고, 물가안정 캠페인을 전개하며 합리적 소비와 건전한 유통 질서 확립을 상인들과 함께 약속했다.
대덕구 관계자는 “전통시장은 지역경제의 뿌리이자 골목상권의 심장”이라며 “장보기 행사와 환급 제도를 적극 알리고, 물가안정 점검을 꾸준히 이어가 명절뿐 아니라 평소에도 사람이 모이는 시장이 되도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.
