【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=한국수력원자력 한울원자력본부(본부장 이세용, 이하 한울본부)가 지난해 12월 20일 개최한 제3회 ‘한울 상고문화제 겨울(冬)편’ 「피아노 콩쿠르」에서 대상을 수상한 울진초등학교 강세영 학생이 총 10회의 피아노 마스터 클래스를 수료했다.

한울본부에 따르면, 이번 마스터 클래스는 현직 피아니스트 박미정이 맡아 진행했으며, 테크닉과 음악적 해석, 무대 표현 등 전반적인 연주 역량을 강세영 학생의 수준과 성향에 맞춰 1대1 밀착 지도 방식으로 운영됐다.
강세영 학생의 부모는 “콩쿠르와 마스터 클래스를 통해 아이의 재능을 발견하는 계기가 됐고, 아이의 미래에 대해서도 다시 생각해 볼 수 있었다”며 “아이들을 위한 귀한 기회를 마련해 준 데 대해 진심으로 감사드린다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
박미정 피아니스트는 “세영이는 기본기가 탄탄하고 표현력이 뛰어나다”며 “세영이를 비롯한 울진 지역의 아이들이 악기와 친숙해지며 음악을 통해 인문학적으로도 성장하길 바란다”고 격려했다.
이세용 본부장은 “2026년에도 울진 지역 아동을 위한 문화예술 프로그램을 지속적으로 운영할 계획”이라며 “미래 세대를 위한 다양한 콘텐츠를 적극 발굴해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Hanul Nuclear Power Plant Headquarters' Grand Prize Winner Completes 10 Master Classes
Kang Se-young, a student at Uljin Elementary School who won the grand prize at the "Piano Competition" of the 3rd Hanul High School Cultural Festival Winter Edition, held by the Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) Hanul Nuclear Power Plant Headquarters (CEO Lee Se-yong, hereinafter referred to as Hanul Headquarters) on December 20th of last year, has completed a total of 10 piano master classes.
According to Hanul Headquarters, the master class was led by practicing pianist Park Mi-jeong. The one-on-one instruction focused on Kang Se-young's overall performance skills, including technique, musical interpretation, and stage performance, tailored to her level and personality.
Kang Se-young's parents expressed their gratitude, saying, "The competition and master classes provided an opportunity to discover my child's talents and reflect on her future. We are truly grateful for this valuable opportunity."
