이재명 대통령이 16일 "집은 투자 수단일 수도 있으나 기본적으로 주거 수단"이라며 다주택자들을 거듭 겨냥했다.
이 대통령은 설 연휴 사흘째인 이날 오전도 엑스(X·구 트위터)에 이같이 적은 후 "긍정적 효과보다 부정적 효과가 큰 건 분명한 만큼 국가적으로 세제·금융·규제 등 부당한 특혜는 회수해야 할 뿐 아닌 사회 문제에 일정 정도 책임·부담을 지우는 게 공정하고 상식에 부합한다"고 주장했다.
그러면서 "누군가 돈을 벌기 위해 살지도 않을 집을 사 모으는 바람에 주거용 집이 부족해 집·전월세값이 비정상적으로 올라 혼인·출생 거부·산업의 국제 경쟁력 저하· 잃어버린 30년 추락 위험 등 온갖 사회문제를 야기한다면 투자·투기용 다주택을 불법이거나 심각하게 부도덕한 일이라 비방할 수 없을진 몰라도 최소한 찬양·권장할 일이 못 되는 건 분명하다"고 주장했다.

더불어 "폐해 큰 다주택에 대한 특혜 부당함·규제 강화 필요성을 모를 리 없는 국민의힘이 무주택 서민·청년의 주거 안정·망국적 부동산 투기 근절을 위한 다주택 억제 정책에 납득하기 어려운 이유를 들어 시비에 가까운 비난을 하니 참으로 안타깝다"고 했다.
