농가가 하루 8시간 기준으로 근로자를 고용할 경우 조합원에게는 7만5000원, 비조합원에게는 5만 원의 인건비를 지원한다.
지난해에는 188개 농가가 참여해 1979명의 인력이 투입되는 등 농번기 인력난 완화에 가시적인 성과를 거뒀다.
특히 올해는 사업의 실효성을 높이기 위해 ‘긴급인력사업’을 새롭게 도입했다.
농가주가 질병이나 부상 등으로 갑작스럽게 영농을 할 수 없는 상황이 발생할 경우 즉시 인력을 지원해 농작업 중단을 최소화하는 사업이다.
