[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 남해군은 오는 4월 4일∼5일 충렬사 광장 및 남해각 일원에서 ‘꽃 피는 남해’행사를 개최한다.
이번 행사는 “남해에 가다, 남해를 보다, 계절의 봄을 함께 즐긴다”는 의미를 담아 ‘남해 가 봄?’이라는 부제로 진행된다.
‘꽃 피는 남해’는 2023년 남해대교 개통 50주년을 계기로 처음 개최된 이후 큰 호응을 얻으며 발전을 거듭해 왔으며 올해로 4회째를 맞는다.
행사 초기부터 남해대교의 역사성과 아름다운 해안 풍광을 적극 활용해 방문객에게 차별화된 경험을 제공하는 데 중점을 두고 다양한 프로그램을 선보여 왔다.
특히 올해는 ‘자연과 감성의 국민쉼터’라는 슬로건 아래, 소풍 오기 좋은 봄 여행지로서 ‘꽃 피는 남해’의 브랜드 이미지를 더욱 확고히 다진다는 계획이다.
가족 단위 방문객과 청년층이 함께 즐길 수 있는 참여형·체험형 콘텐츠를 강화해 체류시간을 늘리고 지역 상권과의 연계 효과를 높일 계획이다.
행사의 하이라이트로는 4일 저녁 남해대교를 수놓을 경관조명, 레이저 쇼, 불꽃놀이다.
또한 여기에 더해 음악이 함께 어우러지는 콜라보레이션 공연도 펼쳐진다.
이연주 관광진흥과장은 “이번 행사가 남해의 아름다운 자연과 문화적 매력을 널리 알리는 계기가 되길 바란다”며 “벚꽃과 함께 즐길 수 있는 다양한 공연과 체험 프로그램을 준비하고 있으니 군민과 관광객 여러분의 많은 관심과 참여를 부탁드린다”고 밝혔다.
