[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 남강댐 인근 ‘내동 면도103호선’ 급경사지 정비공사를 오는 23일부터 추진한다고 19일 밝혔다.
시는 남강댐 물박물관 입구에서 방류부까지 약 320m 구간을 대상으로 낙석 위험 해소를 위해 추진한다.
공사는 노후화된 낙석방지망 교체와 암반 균열 보강, 사면 안정에 지장을 주는 수목 제거에 총 10억원을 투입 할 예정이다.
이번 공사는 오는 23일부터 약 67일간 오전 9시부터 오후 5시까지 진행, 2개 차로 중 1개 차로가 부분 통제된다.
시는 교통 체증 최소화를 위해 신호수 배치와 안내 표지판 설치 등 현장 안전관리를 강화할 방침이다.
진주시 관계자는 “시민 안전 확보를 위한 필수 공사인 만큼 다소 불편이 있더라도 양해와 협조를 부탁한다”고 말했다.
