[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산 수영구에서 금은방을 털고 달아난 40대 남성이 범행 발생 19시간 만에 경찰에 붙잡혔다.
부산 수영경찰서는 40대 남성 A씨를 특수절도 혐의로 구속해 수사 중이다. A씨는 지난 14일 새벽 4시 14분쯤 수영구 민락동 노상에 세워진 1.2톤 활어운반차량을 훔친 뒤, 이를 몰고 인근 금은방으로 이동한 것으로 조사됐다.
A씨는 약 20분 뒤 절도 차량으로 금은방 출입문을 들이받아 파손하고 내부에 침입해 약 700만 원 상당의 귀금속을 훔쳐 달아났다.

신고를 받고 출동한 경찰은 A씨의 범행 전후 이동 경로를 추적해 같은 날 밤 10시 53분경 수영구 자택 앞 노상에서 그를 체포했다. 경찰은 피해품 전량을 회수했으며, A씨를 구속해 정확한 범행 동기와 추가 여죄를 조사 중이다.

A man in his 40s was arrested just 19 hours after breaking into a jewelry store in Busan’s Suyeong District and stealing gold items.
Suyeong Police said on February 16 that they had arrested and detained the suspect, identified only as A, on charges of special theft.
According to police, at around 4:14 a.m. on February 14, A allegedly stole a 1.2-ton live fish transport truck parked in the Minrak-dong area and drove it to a nearby jewelry shop. About 20 minutes later, he allegedly rammed the stolen truck into the store’s entrance, broke in, and stole gold jewelry worth about 7 million won before fleeing.
After receiving a report, police tracked A’s movements before and after the crime and apprehended him at 10:53 p.m. the same day near his residence in Suyeong District. Officers recovered all of the stolen items, and A remains in custody as police continue their investigation into his motive and possible additional crimes.
