올해 계양구는 장애인복지사업 예산은 58개 사업에 전년도 대비 약 35억 원이 증액된 644억 9천2백만 원 규모의 예산을 편성해 보다 안정적인 복지 지원체계를 운영할 계획이다.
아울러, 회의에서는 계양구 장애인복지의 거점 역할을 수행할 계양구립종합누리센터 건립 추진 방향에 대해 의견을 나누는 시간도 가졌다.
계양구립종합누리센터는 오는 3월 착공될 예정이다.
