파주시가 지역 중소기업의 지식재산 경쟁력을 강화하기 위해 2026년 파주시 지식재산 창출지원 사업을 본격적으로 추진한다.

이번 사업은 중소기업이 보유한 기술과 아이디어를 지식재산권으로 보호하고 이를 시장 경쟁력으로 연결할 수 있도록 돕는 것이 목적이다.
특허, 디자인, 상표 등 지식재산 창출부터 권리화, 활용까지 전 과정을 맞춤형으로 지원하며 경기대진테크노파크 경기북부지식재산센터가 위탁 운영을 맡았다.
주요 지원 내용은 특허·실용신안·디자인·상표 출원 지원을 비롯해 제품·포장·화상디자인 개발, 신규 및 리뉴얼 상표 개발, 전문 상담사의 현장 자문 등으로 구성된다.
신청은 오는 2월 27일까지 지원사업 신청시스템을 통해 온라인으로 접수할 수 있으며 자세한 사항은 파주시청 누리집 고시·공고 게시판에서 확인 가능하다.
최대일 기업지원과장은 지식재산은 기업의 핵심 자산이자 미래 성장의 기반이라며 기업의 아이디어가 권리로 보호되고 그 권리가 다시 시장 경쟁력으로 이어질 수 있도록 맞춤형 지원을 강화해 나가겠다고 밝혔다.

Paju City to Fully Launch Support for Intellectual Property Creation for SMEs in 2026
To strengthen the intellectual property competitiveness of local SMEs, Paju City will launch the Paju City Intellectual Property Creation Support Project in earnest in 2026.
This project aims to help SMEs protect their technologies and ideas through intellectual property rights and leverage them to drive market competitiveness.
The project provides customized support throughout the entire process, from creation to rights acquisition and utilization of intellectual property, including patents, designs, and trademarks. The Gyeonggi Daejin Technopark's Gyeonggi Northern Intellectual Property Center is entrusted with the operation of this project.
Key support areas include support for patent, utility model, design, and trademark applications; product, packaging, and graphic design development; new and renewed trademark development; and on-site consultation with expert consultants.
