[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 의령군이 도민 삶의 질을 가늠하는 공식 통계에서 다시 한 번 존재감을 드러냈다.
경상남도가 발표한 ‘2025년 경상남도 사회조사’ 결과, 의령군은 삶의 만족도 전반에서 도내 상위권을 기록한 데 이어 부정 정서 지표인 ‘어제 걱정’ 항목에서는 도내 최저를 나타냈다.
군민이 체감하는 행복도는 높고, 일상적 걱정은 상대적으로 적은 지역이라는 점이 수치로 확인된 셈이다.
이번 조사는 지난해 8월 22일부터 9월 10일까지 도내 18개 시·군 2만5천여 명을 대상으로 실시됐다.
주거·교통, 소득·소비, 일자리·노동, 교육 등 5개 분야 120개 항목에 걸쳐 지역민의 삶 전반을 종합적으로 점검했다.
조사 결과 의령군은 ‘최근 자신의 삶’ 만족도에서 6.8점을 기록하며 도내 2위에 올랐다.
‘전반적 생활’ 만족도는 6.6점으로 3위, ‘어제 행복’ 역시 6.6점으로 2위를 차지했다.
단순한 평균치를 넘어 주요 행복 지표 대부분이 상위권에 포진하며 군민의 전반적 삶의 질이 안정적으로 유지되고 있음을 보여줬다.
특히 눈에 띄는 부분은 부정적 정서를 묻는 ‘어제 걱정’ 항목이다. 의령군은 3.6점으로 도내에서 가장 낮은 수치를 기록했다.

의령군은 이번 조사 지표를 바탕으로 정주 환경과 생활 기반을 다시 한 번 점검하고, 군민이 체감할 수 있는 정책 성과를 이어간다는 방침이다.
