(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 남동구가 23일, 주민이 주도하는 마을공동체 활성화를 위해 ‘2026년 남동구 마을만들기 공모사업’을 추진한다고 밝혔다.
남동구에 따르면, 이 사업은 주민 스스로 마을의 문제를 발굴하고 해결하는 과정을 통해 공동체 회복과 이웃 간 소통을 강화하고, 지속 가능한 지역공동체 기반을 조성하기 위해 마련됐다.
공모사업은 마을공동체 형성, 마을공동체 활동, 마을가꾸기, 마을활동가 등 4개 분야로, 5인 이상으로 구성된 주민 모임이면 누구나 참여할 수 있다.
특히, ‘여성·아동 친화, 교육, 안전, 경제, 친환경, 문화, 기타, 마을가꾸기(특화)’ 등 다양한 분야의 생활밀착형 마을사업을 집중적으로 지원할 예정이다.
공모사업은 공동체 형성과 활동 단계 공동체별 최대 300만 원, 마을가꾸기 사업은 최대 500만 원까지 지원된다.
또한, 참여 공동체 간 활발한 교류와 소통을 돕고, 회계 및 사업 관련 상시 상담과 컨설팅 등 실질적 지원을 수행하는 마을활동가 분야는 자격 기준을 지난해보다 완화·확대하여 선발한다.
신청 기간은 2월 23일부터 3월 13일까지로, 구는 서류 및 면접 심사와 위원회 심의를 거쳐 4월 중 최종 선정 결과를 발표할 예정이다.
선정된 공동체는 6월부터 사업을 추진하고 연말까지 활동 결과를 공유하게 된다.
