고양시 덕양구에서 활동하는 봉우리봉사회와 고양시원흥종합사회복지관이 취약계층 돌봄 지원을 위해 손을 맞잡았다.
봉우리봉사회와 고양시원흥종합사회복지관은 지난 23일 오전 10시 복지관 2층 교육실에서 취약계층 돌봄사업 협력을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다.
이날 협약식에는 양 기관 관계자들이 참석해 협약서에 서명하고 기념촬영을 진행했으며, 지역사회 복지 증진을 위한 상호 협력 의지를 확인했다.

이번 협약에 따라 양 기관은 독거노인과 취약계층을 대상으로 한 돌봄 지원을 비롯해 식사 및 생활 지원 서비스, 정서 지원 프로그램 운영, 지역사회 복지 네트워크 구축 등 다양한 분야에서 협력할 예정이다.
주교동을 중심으로 활동하고 있는 봉우리봉사회는 반찬 나눔과 급식 봉사, 병원 동행 지원 등 지속적인 봉사활동을 통해 지역사회 나눔문화 확산에 기여해온 대표적인 봉사단체다.
고양시원흥종합사회복지관 역시 지역 주민을 위한 맞춤형 복지 서비스와 다양한 프로그램을 운영하며 지역사회 복지 거점 기관으로서 역할을 수행하고 있다.

권순영 회장은 "이번 협약을 통해 도움이 필요한 이웃들에게 보다 체계적이고 지속적인 지원이 가능해질 것으로 기대한다"며 "앞으로도 지역사회와 함께하는 봉사활동을 더욱 확대해 나가겠다"고 말했다.
