또한 다수 농가 지원을 위해 1농가당 최대 480만원까지 지원할 계획이다.
지원대상시설은 야생동물의 침입을 직접적으로 예방하는 전기울타리, 철선·철망울타리, 조·수류퇴치기, 방조망 등이다.
신청 대상은 음성군 관내 소재 농경지에서 경작하고 있는 농가로 △매년 반복해 피해가 발생하고 있는 장소 △멸종위기종으로 인한 피해발생 장소△ 과수·화훼, 특용작물 재배장소 등 우선순위에 따라 대상자가 선정된다.
사업 신청을 원하는 농업인은 예산소진 시까지 각 읍면 행정복지센터를 방문해 신청하면 된다.
군 관계자는 “야생동물 피해예방시설의 효과 제고를 위해 상반기에 설치를 완료할 수 있도록 사업을 신속히 추진하겠다”며 주민들의 많은 관심과 신청을 당부했다.
한편 군은 지난해 야생동물로 인한 농작물 피해를 최소화하기 위해 14농가에 피해예방시설 설치를 지원했다.
