전북 전주시가 국내 시험ㆍ인증 지원 체계 구축을 통해 국내 기업의 해외 의존도를 줄이는 동시에 수소저장용기 핵심 기술 유출 예방 등 기술 자립화 촉진에 시동을 걸었다.
전주시는 23일 팔복동 산업단지 내 한국탄소산업진흥원에서 우범기 시장과 박규순 한국탄소산업진흥원 본부장ㆍ양선화 전북도 미래첨단산업국장ㆍ조성경 산업통상부 섬유탄소나노과장ㆍ이규택 전북테크노파크 원장과 유관기관 관계자 및 탄소ㆍ수소 기업인 등 150여 명이 참석한 가운데 '수소저장용기 인증시험센터(이하 센터)' 개소식을 가졌다.
이번 센터(부지 1,344평ㆍ연건평 800평 규모) 준공을 통해 지난 3월 가동한 소부장 특화단지 테스트베드(메뉴팩처링 인큐베이션 허브)와 연계 '탄소소재 소부장 특화단지' 입지를 한층 강화할 수 있게 됐다.
