【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군은 행정안전부 주관 ‘2025년도 지방정부 혁신평가’에서 민선 6기 4년 연속 우수기관에 선정됐다고 24일 밝혔다.
전국 243개 지방정부(광역 17·기초 226)를 대상으로 한 이번 평가에서 증평군은 충북 도내 유일한 4년 연속 선정이라는 기록을 세웠다.
지방정부 혁신평가는 △혁신역량 △혁신성과 △자율지표 등 3개 항목, 10개 세부지표를 기준으로 전문가 심사와 국민 체감도 조사를 병행해 이뤄진다.
올해는 소통과 협력, 인공지능(AI), 디지털 혁신 등 주민이 일상에서 체감할 수 있는 혁신 성과를 중점적으로 평가했다.
군은 △기관장 혁신 리더십 △현장 중심 소통 강화 △주민 체감형 서비스 개선 △혁신활동 참여 및 혁신성과 확산 노력 지표에서 높은 평가를 받았다.
특히 기관장이 직접 혁신 방향을 제시하고, 부서 간 협업과 적극행정을 독려해 주민 체감형 행정을 군정 전반의 핵심 가치로 정착시킨 점이 좋은 점수를 받았다.
민선 6기 출범 이후 일관되게 추진해 온 혁신 기조가 4년 연속 성과로 이어졌다는 점도 의미를 더한다.
일회성 성과가 아닌, 지속적이고 체계적인 혁신 추진의 결과라는 분석이다.
