대전 유성구가 청년 미래 경쟁력 강화를 위한 2026년 청년정책 시행계획을 확정했다.
24일 구청에서 열린 청년정책위원회에서 위촉 위원과 청년네트워크 등 15명이 참석해 일자리·주거·교육·복지·문화·참여 등 5개 분야 33개 과제를 논의·의결했다.
올해 정책의 핵심은 어궁동 혁신 창업생태계 구축으로, 이미 우수 정책으로 인정받은 스타트업 파크와 기업 연계를 확대해 지역 산업 맞춤형 일자리를 창출한다.
창업 초기부터 성장 단계까지 전 주기 지원 체계를 마련하며, 대덕연구특구 인접 위치를 활용한 테크창업 활성화를 추진한다.
또한 지난해 조성된 성북동 스마트팜(1,536㎡ 규모)을 기반으로 청년농업인 양성과 참여형 체험농장 운영을 통해 농업 분야 신규 일자리를 확대한다.
청년지원센터 중심의 커뮤니티 활성화와 단계별 취·창업 프로그램도 강화되며, 독립생활 지원과 복합 문화공간 조성을 통해 주거·생활 기반을 다진다. 이는 유성구 청년 기본조례에 따른 체계적 접근으로, 청년 참여 확대와 권익 증진을 목표로 한다.
박문용 부구청장은 "청년정책은 지역 미래를 좌우하는 핵심"이라며 "창업·일자리·자립 체계를 강화해 청년들이 체감하는 실효성 있는 지원을 펼치겠다"고 밝혔다. 이 계획은 제6기 유성청년네트워크 등 민관 협력을 통해 실행력을 높일 전망이다.

Daejeon Yuseong-gu has finalized its 2026 Youth Policy Implementation Plan to strengthen the future competitiveness of young people.
