[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 산청군은 소규모 관광객에게 여행 인센티브를 제공해 체류형 관광을 활성화하고 침체된 관광사업과 지역경제 회복하기 위해 ‘산청에서 1박해!’행사를 오는 3월부터 운영한다고 24일 밝혔다.
오는 3월 1일부터 출발하는 여행부터 2인 이상 타 지역(주민등록 기준) 관광객이 산청군에서 1박 이상 숙박할 경우, 여행경비의 절반(최대 10만원)을 산청사랑상품권으로 환급해 준다.
1박 및 관광지 방문 후 10만원 이상 소비하면 산청사랑상품권 5만원을 지급하고, 20만원 이상 소비 시 10만원을 지원하며, 필수 지원조건은 숙박 1박 이상, 식당 1식 이상 이용, 지정관광지 방문이다.
인센티브 신청은 여행 시작일 기준 2일 전까지 반드시 사전 신청 해야한다.
신청은 사전계획서 접수 건에 한해 가능하며, 여행 종료 후 7일 이내에 지급신청서를 제출해야한다.
산청군 관계자는 “지난 해 프로그램 운영 시 큰 호응을 얻은 만큼, 올해도 더 많은 관광객이 산청을 찾아 지역경제에 활력을 불어넣는 계기가 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.
