【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군이 오는 3월 2일 오후 2시, 보강천 체육공원 일원에서 정월대보름 행사를 개최한다고 26일 밝혔다.
증평문화원이 주최하는 이번 행사는 여성단체협의회, 새마을회, 증평청년회의소 등 지역 내 단체가 함께 참여해 전통 세시풍속의 의미를 되새기고, 군민 화합을 다지는 자리로 마련된다.
행사에서는 △윷놀이대회 △달집태우기 △지신밟기 및 공연 △전통놀이 체험마당 △먹거리 장터 등 다채로운 프로그램이 펼쳐진다.
윷놀이대회는 마을·단체·가족 등 4인 1조로 참가할 수 있으며, 참가 희망자는 2월 27일 오후 5시까지 증평문화원으로 사전 접수하면 된다.
정월대보름의 하이라이트인 ‘달집태우기’는 오후 6시 시작된다.
원추형으로 쌓아 올린 달집에 불을 지피며 한 해의 액운을 태워 보내고, 풍요와 안녕을 기원하는 상징적 장면이 연출될 예정이다.
이와 함께 제기차기, 딱지치기 등 전통놀이 체험과 다양한 먹거리 장터도 운영돼 남녀노소 누구나 즐길 수 있는 축제의 장이 될 것으로 기대된다.
