【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군은 26일 도안면 노암리 일원에서 봄철 산불에 대비한 ‘산림재난 대응 주민 대피 및 산불 진화훈련’을 진행했다고 밝혔다.
이번 훈련은 최근 기후변화로 인해 산불 발생 빈도와 대형화 위험이 증가함에 따라 초기 대응 역량을 강화하고 주민 대피 체계를 점검하기 위해 마련됐다.
훈련에는 공무원을 비롯해 소방청 관계자, 산림재난대응단, 의용소방대, 지역 주민 등이 참여했다.
이날 훈련은 건조주의보 발령 상황 속 마을 인근 야산에서 산불이 발생해 강풍을 타고 확산되는 상황을 가정해 진행됐다.
주요 내용은 △마을 방송 및 비상 연락망을 통한 상황 전파 △인근주민 우선 대피 △산불진화차 및 등짐펌프 활용 초기 진화 △유관기관 협력 체계 점검 등이다.
특히 실제 상황에 준하는 현장 대응 훈련을 통해 기관 간 협업 체계를 종합적으로 점검했으며 주민 참여형 대피훈련을 병행해 현장 대응 능력을 한층 강화했다.
군은 봄철 산불조심 기간 비상근무 체계를 유지하는 한편, 산불 취약지역 예찰 활동과 주민 홍보를 강화해 예방 중심의 대응에도 총력을 기울일 방침이다.
김두환 부군수는 “산불은 예방도 중요하지만 초기 대응과 신속한 주민 대피가 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “이번 훈련에서 도출된 보완사항을 면밀히 분석해 대응 매뉴얼을 지속적으로 개선해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
