이번 대회는 경상북도와 한국지방세연구원이 공동 주최했으며, 도내 22개 시·군이 참가해 지방세 세무조사 우수사례를 발표하고 조사기법과 대응 전략, 실무 노하우를 공유하는 자리로 마련됐다.
청송군청 재무과 조정욱 주무관은 ‘준공 전 사용 건물에 대한 취득세 추징’을 주제로 발표했다. 사용승인을 받기 전에 신축 건물을 불법으로 사용하는 사례에 착안해 미신고 취득세와 가산세를 추징하는 조사기법을 제시했으며, 이를 통해 숨은 세원 발굴과 자주재원 확충에 기여할 수 있다는 점에서 높은 평가를 받았다.
청송군은 “직원들이 각자의 자리에서 맡은 업무에 대해 지속적으로 연구하고 노력한 결과”라며 “앞으로도 실효성 있는 세무조사 기법을 발굴해 안정적인 자주재원 확보와 세원 발굴에 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.
