[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 고성군 ‘책둠벙도서관’이 문화체육관광부 소관 국립어린이청소년도서관이 주관하는 ‘2026년 미꿈소(미래꿈희망창작소) 전국 확산 사업’ 공모에서 선정된 전국 17개 공공도서관 중 경남에서 유일하게 최종 선정됐다고 26일 밝혔다.
‘미꿈소’는 어린이들이 독서와 창조적 제작 활동을 결합한 체험을 통해 융합적 사고력을 기를 수 있도록 돕는 국립어린이청소년도서관의 대표 브랜드 사업이다.
이번 공모에서 책둠벙도서관은 경상남도 내 공공도서관 중 유일하게 선정되어, 지역 어린이들을 위한 수준 높은 창의 교육 인프라를 확보하게 됐다.
이번 공모 선정으로 책둠벙도서관은 △프로그램 패키지(교구 및 물품) △미꿈소 전문 강사 파견 △사서 역량 강화 워크숍 △‘미꿈소’ 브랜드 현판 등을 지원받는다.
특히 사업 종료 후에도 수업에 사용된 열프레스기 등 전문 창작 장비는 도서관 소유로 귀속되어, 향후 도서관의 자체 예산으로 상시 활용될 예정이다.
도서관은 오는 7월부터 지원받은 전문 장비를 활용해 ‘동화 속 소품 만들기’ 프로그램을 운영한다.
어린이들이 직접 그린 동화 속 장면을 에코백이나 머그컵 등에 새겨넣는 ‘디지털 전사 과정’을 통해, 책 속의 상상을 실제 작품으로 구현하는 특별한 경험을 선사할 예정이다.
고성군은 이번 사업으로 확보한 전문 장비와 교육 콘텐츠를 도서관 내 프로그램에만 국한하지 않고, 향후 관내 주요 축제 및 행사와 연계하여 ‘찾아가는 체험 부스’ 등으로 적극 활용할 계획이다.
이를 통해 도서관의 문턱을 낮추고 더 많은 군민에게 창의 체험 기회를 제공하는 ‘체험형 창의 공간’으로서의 역할을 강화한다는 방침이다.

Through a "digital transfer process," children will be able to imprint their own fairy tale scenes onto eco-bags and mugs, providing a unique experience of bringing their imaginations from the books to life.
Goseong County plans to actively utilize the specialized equipment and educational content acquired through this project beyond the library's in-house programs. They will also actively participate in major festivals and events within the county, including "mobile experience booths."
Through this initiative, the library aims to lower the barrier to entry and strengthen its role as an "experiential creative space" that provides more residents with creative experiences.
