재단법인 파주시청소년재단은 2월 25일 파주시청소년수련관에서 파주에너지서비스와 파주 지역 청소년의 건강한 성장과 역량 강화를 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이날 협약식에는 원희복 대표이사를 비롯한 재단 관계자들과 윤정원 파주에너지서비스 대표 등 주요 관계자들이 참석해 지역사회와 청소년의 동반 성장을 위한 협력 의지를 다졌다.
이번 협약은 지역사회와의 상생 협력을 기반으로 파주시 청소년들에게 보다 체계적이고 지속적인 성장 지원 환경을 마련하기 위해 추진됐으며 공공기관과 지역 기업이 협력하는 사회공헌 모델을 구축하고, 청소년이 지역 안에서 꿈을 키우며 도전할 수 있는 기반을 조성하는 데 의미가 있다는 설명이다.
특히 파주에너지서비스는 2026년 파주 지역 소외계층을 위한 지정기탁 사업을 지원할 계획이다.
해당 재원은 지역 내 취약계층 청소년의 신체활동 지원과 진로교육 프로그램 운영 등 실질적인 성장 기반 사업에 활용될 예정이다.
원희복 대표이사는 “이번 협약은 단순한 재정 지원을 넘어 지역사회가 함께 청소년의 미래를 책임지는 협력의 출발점”이라고 밝혔으며 이어 “앞으로도 지역과 긴밀히 소통하며 청소년이 주도적으로 성장할 수 있는 환경을 조성해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
