[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 사천시는 해양레저와 체험형 낚시 명소인 비토해양낚시공원이 3월부터 조기 개장에 들어간다고 27일 밝혔다.
시는 해양낚시터와 낚시잔교, 부교 등 주요 시설의 안전점검과 보수 작업이 계획보다 원활히 마무리됨에 따라 당초 3월 31일까지 예정됐던 임시 휴장을 단축하고 조기 개장한다.
사천시는 이용객의 안전 확보와 시설 개선을 위해 지난 1월 1일부터 임시 휴장에 들어가 전반적인 시설 정비를 진행해 왔다.
아울러, 구명장비 점검과 청소·방역 및 운영요원 교육까지 마무리하면서 이용객을 맞이할 준비를 갖췄다.
특히, 이번 조기 개장은 본격적인 봄철 관광 시즌을 앞두고 이루어져, 비토섬 일대 해양레저 관광 활성화에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것으로 기대된다.
