(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 3월부터 2026학년도 ‘거점형 돌봄 시범기관’14개소(유치원 8개, 어린이집 6개)를 선정해 운영한다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 사업은 유보통합의 안정적인 정착을 지원하고 돌봄 사각지대를 해소하여 맞벌이 가정의 돌봄 부담을 경감하고자 마련했다.
거점형 돌봄기관은 유아의 소속 유치원·어린이집에 관계없이 지역 내 돌봄이 필요한 유아(3~5세)를 수용해 지역 내 ‘안심 돌봄 거점’역할을 수행한다.
거점형 돌봄은 유치원과 어린이집의 정규 시간 외 발생하는 돌봄 공백을 메우기 위해 아침·저녁 돌봄(오전 7시~일과 전, 오후 7시~밤 10시), 토요·휴일 돌봄(토요일·공휴일), 방학 돌봄(여름·겨울방학 중 각 4주) 등 세 가지 유형으로 운영하며 세부 운영유형은 운영 기관별로 상이하다.
돌봄 이용을 원하는 학부모는 각 거점기관이 구축한 온라인 플랫폼(누리집·네이버·구글폼 등)을 활용해 신청할 수 있으며 자세한 사항은 아래 ‘기관 현황’의 연락처로 문의하면 된다.
