창원시는 3일 ‘제60회 납세자의 날’을 맞아 지방재정 확충에 기여하고 건전한 납세 문화를 선도한 성실납세자 5명(법인 3곳, 개인 2명)에게 감사패를 수여했다고 밝혔다.
이번 성실납세자 선정은 단순히 납부액만 따진 것이 아니라, 체납 이력이 전혀 없는 '청렴도'까지 엄격히 심사했다. 올해는 한화엔진(주), 세방전지(주), 지엠비코리아(주) 3개 기업과 동부회센타 박희선 대표, 기아오토규 진해서비스 김환태 대표 개인 2명을 성실납세자로 선정했다.
성실납세자에게는 감사패 전달 이외에도 △지방세 세무조사 2년간 유예 △지방세 징수유예 또는 납기한 연장 시 납세담보 완화 △시가 주관하는 각종 행사나 시찰 등에 초청대상자로 선정 등의 혜택이 주어진다.
