2026년 병오년(丙午年) 새해의 풍요와 안녕을 기원하는 ‘2026년 정월대보름 행사’가 지난 3월 2일, 성석동 들녘을 가득 메운 시민들의 뜨거운 성원 속에 성황리에 마무리됐다.
고양문화원이 주최하고 성석농악 진밭두레보존회가 주관한 이번 행사는 잊혀가는 우리 고유의 전통문화 가치를 되새기고, 지역 공동체의 화합을 도모하기 위해 마련됐다.

특히 이번 축제는 고양시의회 부의장과 부시장을 역임한 행정 전문가 이봉운 제13대 고양문화원장이 취임한 후 선보인 첫 공식 행사라는 점에서 기획 단계부터 시민들의 큰 기대를 모았다.
행사는 마을의 평안을 비는 활기찬‘농악 길놀이’로 막을 올렸다.
들녘을 울리는 풍물 소리에 시민들은 발걸음을 멈추고 축제 분위기에 젖어들었으며, 이어지는 다채로운 전통 공연은 관객들의 눈과 귀를 사로잡았다.
