구연희 세종시교육감 권한대행은 3일, 보람초등학교에서 첫 등교를 맞이한 학생들을 대상으로 통학로 안전 캠페인을 진행했다.
이번 캠페인은 보람초등학교 학생들의 안전한 통학환경 조성을 위해 마련됐으며, 구연희 교육감 권한대행을 비롯해 교육청 및 학교관계자, 학교안전공제회 등 25명이 참석했다.
참석자들은 교통안전 어깨띠를 착용하고 학교 정문과 횡단보도 등 통학로 곳곳에서 첫 등교하는 학생들을 격려하며 교통안전지도를 진행하고 학생들의 안전한 도보통학을 위한 교통안전용품을 보람초등학교에 전달했다.
구연희 교육감 권한대행은 “새 학년을 맞아 학교에서 학교 안팎의 통학로 위험요소는 없는지 잘 살펴주길 당부드린다.”라면서 “교육청에서도 학생들이 안심하고 학교를 오갈수 있도록 안전한 통학여건 조성에 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
세종시교육청은 통학로 주변을 수시로 점검하고, 유관기관과 합동 점검을 실시하는 등 안전한 통학환경 조성을 위해 노력해왔으며, 안심알리미서비스와 통학로안전지킴이 운영 확대 등 통학로 안전 강화를 위한 지원을 이어나갈 계획이다.
