맹수석 대전광역시교육감 예비후보가 신학기를 맞아 둔산자이아이파크 단지 인근의 대전백운초등학교 통학로를 직접 점검하며, 아이들의 보행 안전을 위한 실질적인 대책 마련에 나섰다.
맹 예비후보는 현장에서 위험 실태를 확인한 뒤, 행정 중심이 아닌 학생 안전을 최우선으로 하는 ‘공동통학구역 지정’을 강력히 제안했다.
맹 예비후보는 3일 오전, 학부모 및 학생들과 동행하며 아이들이 매일 오가는 통학 동선을 그대로 따라 이동했다. 이 과정에서 현재 대전백운초로 배정된 통학로 곳곳에 도사린 위험 요소를 면밀히 살폈다.
