김태흠 충남도지사가 최근 국회 법제사법위원회에서 보류된 행정통합법과 관련해 “빈 껍데기뿐인 법안은 없는 게 낫다”고 평가하면서도, 실질적인 권한 이양을 바탕으로 한 행정통합의 동력은 계속 이어가야 한다는 의지를 분명히 했다.
김 지사는 3일 도청 대회의실에서 열린 제83차 실국원장회의에서 지난주 행정통합법 보류 결과에 대해 “당연한 결과”라고 언급했다.
