대전시가 도시철도 2호선 노면전차(트램) 잔여 5개 공구 본공사를 3월부터 가동하며 본선 14개 전 구간 동시 공사에 돌입한다.

교통량 많은 9공구(진잠네거리~건양대병원)는 10→8차로 운영, 14공구(동아공고네거리)도 2차로 줄어든다.
구조물 공사→보도 축소→트램 내·외선→정거장 조정 순으로 점진 진행해 도로 점유 최소화한다. 경찰과 협력 버스전용차로 유예, 안전 펜스·표지판 설치도 강화한다.
교통속도 20km/h 이하(2단계) 시 고속도로 통행료 지원, 15km/h 이하(3단계) 공공차량 2부제까지 가동한다.
