대전시가 경기침체로 어려움을 겪는 소상공인과 중소기업의 경영 부담을 덜어주기 위해 공유재산 임대료 경감 기간을 2026년 말까지 1년 연장한다.
올해는 최대 60% 인하와 감면 한도 3천만 원으로 지원을 확대한다.
시는 2월 10일 ‘소상공인 공유재산 임대료 간담회’를 열고 상인들의 매출 감소 호소를 청취한 뒤, 전년 대비 한도를 1천만 원 늘려 결정했다.
지원 대상은 공유재산을 직접 사용하는 소상공인·중소기업 업종으로, 2026년 1~12월 임대료에 적용된다.
단, ‘2026년 영세 소상공인 임대료 지원사업’으로 받은 금액은 중복 제외한다.
대전시 관계자는 "소비 위축 속에서 상인들의 생존을 돕는 실질적 지원책"이라며 현장 목소리를 정책에 적극 반영했다고 밝혔다.
