파주시 금촌2동은 한국외국어대학교와 협력해 국제 정세와 세계의 주요 논쟁거리를 조망하는 인문 강좌 ‘세계의 오늘을 이해하다’를 개설하고 ‘2026년 금촌2동-한국외대 일생일대 프로젝트’를 본격 추진한다고 밝혔다.

이번 강좌는 급변하는 국제 환경 속에서 주민들이 세계 정치·경제·문화의 흐름을 입체적으로 이해하고 국제 시대에 필요한 통찰력을 기를 수 있도록 기획된 대학 연계 평생학습 프로그램이며 세계 문화·문명 연구에 특화된 한국외국어대학교 교수진이 직접 강의에 나선다.
강의는 중국, 일본, 영국, 튀르키예, 스페인, 중남미 등 9개 문화권을 중심으로 각 지역의 정치·경제 동향과 국제 분쟁, 외교 현안, 세계 문화 흐름 등을 폭넓게 다룰 예정이다.
정규 강좌는 2026년 4월 3일부터 9월 11일까지 총 10회에 걸쳐 금촌2동 행정복지센터 2층 다목적실에서 진행된다.
수강 신청은 3월 3일부터 20일까지 방문 접수로 진행되며 모집 인원은 선착순 60명이며. 파주시민이면 누구나 참여할 수 있다.
