김태흠 충남지사가 대전·충남 행정통합과 관련해 사실상 최종 거부 의사를 분명히 했다.
김 지사는 4일 충남도청에서 가진 기자 브리핑을 통해 2월 임시국회 종료와 함께 통합 추진이 어려워진 현실을 언급하며, 야당이 추진하는 통합안을 ‘재정과 권한이 없는 졸속 법안’으로 규정하고 강력히 비판했다.
김 지사는 이번 국회에서 대구·경북(TK) 통합안까지 제외된 상황을 언급하며, 민주당이 필리버스터 중단 등 굴욕적인 요구를 관철시킨 뒤 추가적인 당론 찬성을 요구하는 등 통합 문제를 정치적 흥정의 대상으로 전락시켰다고 비판했다.
