충남 계룡시가 인공지능 시대를 맞아 시민들의 디지털 활용 능력을 키우기 위해 ‘2026년 주민 정보화 교육’을 본격 가동한다.
오는 9일부터 11월까지 이어지는 이번 교육은 특히 생성형 AI 과정을 대폭 보강해 실생활과 밀접한 미래 기술 습득에 초점을 맞췄다.
올해 교육의 핵심은 ‘AI 역량 강화’다. 계룡시는 지난해 2개에 불과했던 AI 관련 과정을 5개로 늘려 수준별·목적별 학습이 가능하도록 개편했다.
주요 교육 내용은 AI 기초 및 영상 제작 ,AI 활용 글쓰기 ,AI 정보 검색 ,AI 기반 SNS 콘텐츠 제작 등으로 구성됐다. 단순히 이론을 배우는 데 그치지 않고 일상생활과 업무에서 즉각적으로 AI를 도구로 활용할 수 있도록 실전 위주의 커리큘럼을 마련한 점이 눈에 띈다.
교육 운영 방식과 규모도 내실을 기했다. 전체 과정은 지난해 12개에서 14개로 늘어났으며, 시민들의 접근성을 고려해 대면(집합) 교육 9회와 비대면(온라인) 교육 5회를 병행한다.
특히 평일 낮 시간대 참여가 어려운 직장인들을 위해 오후 7시부터 9시까지 진행되는 온라인 야간 강좌를 개설했다. 정보화 취약계층부터 자기계발을 원하는 청년·중장년층까지 폭넓은 참여를 이끌어내겠다는 취지다.
전통적인 인기 강좌들도 변함없이 운영된다. 한글, 엑셀, 파워포인트 등 기초 사무 능력 배양은 물론 ITQ와 컴퓨터활용능력 자격증 대비반, 유튜브 채널 운영 과정 등을 지속해 시민들의 실질적인 취업 및 창업 역량을 지원한다.
교육은 계룡시 공공시설사업소 정보화교육장과 온라인 플랫폼에서 진행되며, 계룡시민이라면 누구나 무료로 수강할 수 있다.
